Hi, my name is Riley. I am a double major studying Political Economy and Business Administration. I previously served as CASA’s Business Development Director from 2018-2019 and have been a club member for two years. In my free time, I enjoy reading, cooking, and traveling.

Celine Chen

Chief Programming Officer

My name is Celine, and I am currently a third-year student at Cal double majoring in sociology and cognitive science. I am originally from Fremont, California and have been a part of CASA for two years now as both a coordinator and a director. At UC Berkeley, other than being involved with CASA, I am also a campus ambassador, volunteer director for The Berkeley Project, and a Data Science Tutor. When I’m not giving tours or studying, I love getting boba with friends or rewatching The Office on Netflix! I have found an amazing community within this organization and am excited to serve as chief program officer for this upcoming year!

Celine Bellegarda

Chief Operations Officer

Hi, I’m Celine! I am a third year majoring in Molecular Environmental Biology and minoring in Chemistry. I am so excited to serve as CASA’s Chief Operations Officer this year, after having been in the organization since my first semester at Cal! Outside of CASA, I am a Director for The Berkeley Project, which is the largest student-run community service organization on campus, and also serve as a Peer Advisor for the College of Natural Resources. When I am not studying or working, you can find me hiking, spending time with family and friends, and embracing everything life has to offer! Here’s to another wonderful year with CASA!

Claire Ko

Chief Finance Officer

I am Claire Ko, a junior majoring in Engineering Mathematics and Statistics and minoring in EECS. I joined the Accounting Department of the Cal Alumni Student Association in my freshman year as a coordinator, slowly working my way up the Finance Division by implementing changes to the budget in the past year as Accounting Director. As I will be assuming my Chief Finance Officer position this coming year, I aim to continue my efforts of creating a more cohesive and transparent environment where CASA members feel invested in the growth of the organization so they could grow as leaders as well.

Maya Williams

Alumni Engagement Director

I’m Maya and I’m a sophomore double majoring in Political Science and Spanish Literature. I’m from Laguna Hills in Southern California! I have been a member of CASA since my first semester at Berkeley. I’m looking forward to being the Alumni Engagement Director this year! Besides CASA, I am involved in BUILD literacy program where I work at local elementary schools, I’ve worked in the ASUC, and hope to continue joining new orgs that interest me. I love running, travel, music, film, boba, and spending time with friends and family!

Kevin Liu

Professional Development Director

Hello! I’m currently a sophomore studying Computer Science and I’m so excited to be leading Cal Alumni Student Association’s Professional Development department this year! My focus in CS are cybersecurity and back end development, both which I spend a good amount of my time doing. Outside of class, I enjoy traveling, hiking/camping, and exploring new places. Talia Panadero

Internal Affairs Director

Hello! My name is Talia Panadero. I am a 3rd year at Cal and this is also my 3rd year as a CASA member, this year as the Internal Affairs Director. I am from Sacramento, CA and I am studying Public Health and Anthropology. On campus, I am also a director for the ASUC Mental Health Commission, a Public Health research assistant, and a part time tennis coach/tutor for low-income K-12 students. In my free time, I love exploring and visiting new coffee shops, museums, hikes, and concerts!

Gabriella Allaf

Overnight Stay Program Director

Hello! My name is Gabriella Allaf, most people call me Gaby. I am currently a 3rd year pursuing a Degree in Political Science with a Double Minor in Spanish Linguistics and History. This year I am honored to be the Overnight Stay Program Director for CASA. I truly enjoyed being a Coordinator for OSP last year and am excited to take on the role as Director. Besides my role in CASA, I work as an Undergraduate Fellow at Berkeley Law in the Berkeley Center for Law and Business. In addition, I am a Resident Assistant (RA) at Unit 1. Alison Huh

Marketing & Communications Director

Hi there! I’m Ali––a sophomore English undergrad from sunny Irvine, CA. I’m beyond excited to serve as the Marketing & Communications Director this year! Outside of CASA, I’m involved with the Phi Alpha Delta pre-law fraternity. I’ve also been in the UC Berkeley Symphony Orchestra, and I will be a freshman Orientation Leader in the fall. Whenever I’m free, I love exploring public transit, discovering new music, and watching ice hockey! As always––Go Bears!!

Kasturi Sarkar

Event Logistics Director

Hi! I’m Kas and I’m a 3rd year Integrative Biology major and Anthropology minor on a pre-med track. I’m from Little Rock, Arkansas, but I’ve actually lived all over the US including Kentucky, Illinois, Ohio and Pennsylvania! I have been in CASA since my freshman year. In the past I was a coordinator for Volunteer and Outreach and then for Event Logistics. My current position is Event Logistics director. I am also an undergraduate lab assistant at the Human Evolution Research Center on campus. Fun fact, I’ve been an Odissi (a classical Indian dance) dancer since I was 6 years old.

Amy Tao

Accounting Director

Hi, my name is Amy, and I will be the Accounting Director this year! I am a Junior majoring in Business from San Diego, CA. I’ve officially been in CASA for a year now, but have been involved with CASA events since before Freshman year (OSP!). I am also involved with the Peer Review Board, the Global Leadership Organization, and the Berkeley Charter for Professional Accountancy here on campus. In my free time, I like to watch crime shows, and play board games with friends at Victory Point Café. I’m excited for what this new year with CASA will bring!

Inaara Muhammad

Business Development Director

Hi! My name is Inaara, and I am a junior double-majoring in Economics and Ethnic Studies. I joined CASA my freshman year as an Out of State Scholar, and served as an Alumni Engagement Coordinator. Last year, I was the Scholarships Director and helped develop CASA’s philanthropy efforts. This year, I’m excited to return as the Business Development Director. Alongside CASA, I am also an RA, and a part of Microfinance at Berkeley. I love to travel, hike, and find hidden dessert gems around Berkeley!
